My new PC  Windows Vista, does't have enymore a serail coonnection. So I bought a Targus USB to Serial  cable. Windows Vista creates a com port com 3 and PsiWin does recognize it, but they are not able tot connect.
Has someone expierience with this connecton a netbook to Vista?

Not every USB to serieel connector works.

DIGITUS works always also under Vista

Charlie, try disabling the FIFO buffers in the advanced settings of the USB to serial driver.   I have a Targus USB-Serial cable that now works well with my new Asus Eee PC 901 (although it is XP not Vista...)
