My netBook's screen calibration is drifting all over the place. Sometimes it is even too far out to tap the targets and I have to restore factory settings to get a bit closer and then calibrate. Have tried a soft reset to no avail. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Rick O

Hi Rick,
Usually this is to do with the connection betwen the ribbon cable from the screen and the motherboard deteriorating. Bizarre though it may sound, a short-mid term fix is to press down reasonably hard on the netBook logo/badge just above the keyboard. This presses on the connecting block and usually improves things for a while.
Longer term you need to gain access to the connection and clean the connectors (or get someone skilled in such things to do it for you).
Cheers,
