Series 7 Wifi DriversHi
I was wondering whether anyone could elaberate on the Wifi Drivers on the website. I've been using a PSION 7 since my A-Levels and would be keen to get it working on the University Network.
The description says they are buggy. Do they still provide stable access to a wifi network, and can they handle email transfers.

Hi David,
I've never tried them but I've spoken with people who have and describe them as very buggy! The best solution for a Series 7 user wanting WiFi access is probably to pick up a netBook 'personality module' (can be had for £30-£35 on eBay, etc.) and converting your machine into a '7Book' so that it has the correct drivers for handling an appropriate WiFi card.

I tried them also BUT I think the driver only add support for Psion Goldcard Network card. No extra icon apear in the config screen ...

Wifi Series 7I recently purchased Psion 7 and also the upgrade chip I couldn't be happier. The one thing I would do however is research the card you use After a lot of research over the net etc and with some of Martin's Wifi documents I went for the Buffalo Air Station WLI-PCM-L11GP. I'm can't exactly remember were I purchased but it's the bomb as they say here in the states ( Sorry I'm an Aussie ) Hope this helps
