Psion renaissanceIs it just me or could we be seeing a bit of a Psion renaissance. I'm noticing 3c and 3mx PDAs going for pretty high prices on ebay - over 65 quid in many cases.
I've recently rediscovered my 5mx - for about the 3rd time! Each time I do, I find something new I can do with it. First time, I wrote an Asteroids game that some of you might have played.
Last time, back in 2003, I found it was possible to play Quicktime movie files using the Java VM:

Now, I'm discovering the joys of GPRS and RoutePlanner. Also, I'm actually considering writing some more software for EPOC. I'm realising that the Series 3 and 5 PDAs have never really been bettered. It's the convenience of AA batteries, long battery life, and great software.

Hey Phil,
I see that you were the one that found the little Java app, thanks for that!
It even works on a netBook with a few colors (not many however).
It stays a dream, watching videos on a Psion...
