Good afternoon everyone.

I recently bought a wired LAN card (Psion Dacom Gold) for the odd network around that's still wired near me.

However, whenever I try to connect to the Internet through it my netBook just resets.

I've tried everything I can think of and it just won't work Embarassed

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Hi Jon,

First off, have you definitely got the right Psion Dacom card? Some will work, some won't (oh, and it has to be PCMCIA, not CardBus). See here for details of compatible cards: http://www.epocfaq.co.uk/faqNetworks.htm

Hello JonB,

My frind Henk-Jan had the same problem.
He had problems with the drivers.

His solution:

Delete all ethernet drivers along the control panel
When they all deleted your Psion install them back by his own.

Try it and tell your experience.

It would appear I was had by the guy selling it. It isn't netBook compatible after all Sad
