Problem with IMAP4 upgrade

I recently installed this upgrade on my english netBook but it says "This update is not designed to run on this machine".
I browsed some forums about it but only found something that changes the type class of my netBook (It displayed Series 7 before, after patching netBook). I tried this out but noticed my UID has changed with it!!
So all my software registartions won't work anymore. So I changed it back.

Does anyone knows another way of getting IMAP to work on my netBook?

Just seen netBook already has built in IMAP support *g*
