I'm probably not the guy who can help you, but did you try uninstalling and then reinstalling? What do you mean by 'the program breaks'? Did you install from a PC, or did you copy the .sis file from a PC onto the 5mx then double-click on it there? I've found the latter to be the best method of installing an app.
I don't think it has anything to do with needing something for C++ because I don't think I ever put anything about C++ on my machines and I didn't have any problem installing and running Ferret. Keith |

It is a colrized aif-file. Simply download ColorIcons_F from here: http://www.pscience5.net/colouricons.htm , choose Ferret.aif and replace it with the one from !:\System\Apps\Ferret\
