Conjugue - "General Failure"

I have been using Conjugue without problem, except the last time I tried running it, all I got was a message/button to say "General Failure" and nothing further.

I have uninstalled, re-installed, downloaded and installed a fresh copy of the problem with no success. Is there anyway of overcoming this problem?

Using a 7Book.

I think it needs to be installed on C Drive, I'm not sure...

Jonas,

Thank you for the reply. No, driving on C makes no difference. I have been running always on D.

Any other suggestions would be very gratefully received.

Does this help you?

Jonas,

Thank you for this. I can see that the problem relates to file in a View. I had installed this program, but uninstalling it and reinstalling Conjugure has not solved problem.

I can see that it may be necessary to edit an opo file but this is beyond my skills. Also I can see that there were some updated files provided but I cannot see these posted anywhere.

I would be really grateful for some practical help.

You would only need to change some bites with a Hex Editor, not too difficult Smile

I'm not sure if it's the working version of it. If you get an error while exiting, ask again.

Replace the .app File with the original one.

Martin once said he will upload the correct version on the site, he never did...

Jonas,

Thank you for the link. The version is for version 2.0 not the latest version.

Then I thought I would try to do make the change with Hex Editor, and I installed that program. Before trying to make the actual edit I thought I try running conjugue one more time, and it worked. Maybe Hex Editor reinstallede some necessary file for its run.

Anyway, thank you for all your help.
