Hi everybody!
At first I have - because it's my first post - to say that this page is greatful! I'm a german "running late" psion-fan, because I got know of the psion, when it was already out of development (I bought my Psion 5MX Pro at www.pulster.de).
Thence I love this site here (pscience5.net), because it is so up-to-date and gives the possibility to get all the great software, also if there is nowadays a lot down and less active. Really greatful! thanks..

Now my problem:
At the moment I try to get my Psion Emulator (I use "Smybian OS V5 OPL SDK" from here) working with as many progs as possible. ^^ You know - the problem with the OPXs Wink ...

When I tried to install nRSCUtil and nSISUtil I could replace all the "Does not exist"-OPXs succesful, until asking for nDiskTools.opx. This one he didn't like. I took all neuron-OPX-Files from the package on pscience.net. I was really happy when I found this package, also because I couldn't find the nDiskTools.opx elsewhere. Unfortunately it doesn't work (on my system)...

And then I also tried Rally from Neuon, which had problems with the Neuon.opx...

I copied all the opx into
C:\Epoc32\Wins\C\System\Opx
and also after not working in
C:\Epoc32\Release\Wins\Deb\Z\System\Opx and
C:\Epoc32\Release\Wins\Rel\Z\System\Opx

Here is a list of which useful OPX-packages I could found. At the moment I try to find out, which are working and want to make a ultimative list (like the one of the "Lost & Found" but with still more, and all should working (for me)). I will try to find a place, where I can upload them, after done it. Here's the list:

If you know more OPX-packages - please tell me Smile

And does anyone now, why some of the (Neuon-)OPXs don't run on my system? Or how to fix that problem?
Please tell everything, you know about the Emulator, to let it run by getting most out of it! Cool

Greetings,
Clemens

EDIT: I had made some mistakes with the links !!!! Corrected...

http://ohsix827.home.comcast.net/emulator -------> Downloadlink (does anybody know, for what the Release.zip ist good, which funktion the DLLs have?)[/quote]

Don't know if this is the answer you're looking for, but on the same page of my web site where you find the Release.zip, there's a "note" link which explains where to put the 2 DLL files.

Not sure, but I think the neon opx package are not wins versions. If that's true, they won't work with the emulator.

Hopefully, some expert will answer you with better information.

Keith

Hi Keith, thanks for your answer Smile
At first: Very useful site, you have made! great Cool
About the DLLs: I already have put them into the folders, like I could read in your note... - but I was interested, what the functions of these files are...

About the neuon-OPX-package: If you mean the package from www.pison.de I can translate, that the comment about the neuon package says that the WINS-Emulator-versions are included - and yes they are and also work fine (at least the both I have tested yet).
The only one of your package I tested yet and didn't work was sysram1.opx. But that doesn't matter, because for this one I could find a "working-fine" in pisons' symbian-package and also in psience's package.

I only have troubles with some (see first post) of the WinsOPX.zip from http://www.pscience5.net/LFWins.htm, which I can't find anywhere else.

Clemens

HINT: I made some mistakes in my first post with the (download) links! Maybe that resulted in a misapprehension...
