Hey I wanted to coulor in exodus using Pallet and Sketch but it seems that Sketch can't open it's own .mbm files
I tried on MacOSX because in graphic converter program the file type psion .mbm was present but he couldn't open it either.
What am I to do?
In my viewpoint, I can't open MBM-files with Sketch.
You need MBMView made by Lieuwe de Vries
I can't open them, too, but importing is possible!!
Yes you are right
Highlandtwo, you must make the following steps
Menu
File
More
Merge in... (Shift+Ctrl+I)
Choose by "File type", "Epoc picture"
Then you can import a MBM-file.
After you colored the picture
Push (Shift+Ctrl+E) that's "Export" and than you have again a MBM-file.
BUT BUT BUT
When you open a MBM-file in this way, you can color only the FRIST picture in the MBM-file.
MBM-files can contain more pictures.
When you wil see them all use IconPatcher by our host, or View+ by Edo.
View+ works only on a color Psion, you need also the OPX-files

is there a epoc program that converts to a more popular format ? and then back on to mbm
It isn't easy.
When you can't use V+ then it is impossible
When you wil open the icons, then you must work in the following way
Extract the AIF with IconPatcher
Open the MBM with Sketch or convert the MBM with MBMView to Sketch format.
After coloring, push (Shift+Ctrl+E) you make a new MBM-file
Then you must patch the old AIF with the new MBM's
