I have been trying to find this card from an online retailer in the UK. But none appears to stock them.

I think this is the model that Martin refers to.

I would be grateful to know if any other users of the forum know where I can get this in the UK.

Hi

I picked mine up on Ebay - it wasn't expensive, but I had to wait for a while until one popped up (that I wasn't outbid on)

There are two versions of the card - a normal one and a slim one. Both cards work in the psion but the slim one doesn't block the pen release and is therefore better (this is the one that I have).

No-one as far as I know sells the card new anymore - even places like CEX didn't have them when I was searching.

Thank you for confirming this.

I guess I will have try another brand. Looking at http://www.epocfaq.co.uk/faqNetworks.htm, the following seems to be a compatible type of card and more generally available.

Proxim - 8410-EU - 11Mbps Wireless Orinoco Classic Gold Laptop Card

I'm a Psioncollector from the Netherlands. For my hobby I also try to get my collecting complete with add-ons like these WiFi cards. In the past few moths I have gathered very different brands. The one mentioned here (Buffalo) I bought just recently on Ebay, after looking for it for about 3-6 months! Only wanted it because of NOT-blocking the stylus!

Since I have quiet a collection allready, I'm now selling my spare WiFi cards.

WEP encryption enabled:
Compaq WL110 (rebranded Orinoco GOLD) Used but like new!
Orinoco Gold (With Blue, Purple or Blank frontlabel) BRANDNEW!!

No WEP encryption:
Lucent Technologies Wavelan

Also have some extra equipment:
Compaq WL310 Access point (with WL110) Used but like new!
Orinoco Gold USB Client (with Gold card) BRANDNEW!!
Orinoco Gold AP-500 WiFi Access Point (with Gold card) BRANDNEW!!

All WiFi cards are tested by myself and working great in the Psion netBook (EPOC).
